Frequently asked questions

How much yogurt can I make at once?

The device comes with 7 glass jars of 180 ml each, so you make 1.26 litres in total at once. The jars are single portions, so you can put them straight into the fridge.

Do I set the temperature and time myself?

You set the temperature between 20 and 60 °C and the time between 0 and 48 hours. The device keeps the temperature you choose steady inside, so you don't have to keep an eye on it.

How do I know it's finished?

When the time is up, the device beeps and switches off automatically. The fermentation compartment is easy to clean, and the glass jars are dishwasher-safe.

How do I get the consistency right?

Three things set the consistency: fresh starter culture, milk at the temperature given in the manual when you add the culture, and letting the full time run. Get these three right and leave the device without shaking it or opening the lid while it runs, and you get the same result every time.

Can I wash the glass jars in the dishwasher?

The glass jars and their lids are dishwasher-safe. The body and electrical parts of the device must not be put in water; wipe them with a damp cloth.

How should I place the jars?

Place the jars on the base without their lids, so they don't touch each other, and close the device's cover. This spreads the heat evenly to every jar. Put the lids on once fermentation is finished, as the jars go into the fridge.

Is my product under warranty?

The warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase. The terms are written on the warranty certificate in the box. Extra periods offered in e-commerce site campaigns do not extend our warranty.

Where should I send my faulty product for repair?

If your product is under warranty, the customer service of the store where you bought it can send it to our service with free shipping, and you can collect it from the store again. If you bought it online and the seller cannot offer free shipping, call us and we will share our contracted courier details. If the warranty has expired or you cannot find the invoice, you can send it to our service address with any courier, with shipping paid by the sender.

How long does a repair take?

Products found faulty under warranty are sent back repaired, or replaced with a new one with the same features, within 20 business days at most from the date they reach our service. The period starts when the parcel is delivered to the service.
